So you know how I've been obsessed bet with plants lately? like Yeah well, I basically wasn’t even planning by the way to c’mon get a well money plant but my neighbor was like, "Take this clipping! It's supposed to bring you good c’mon luck!" And me being me, I right was like, okay free plant!
But here's the thing, I'd actually heard whispers about can money plant grow inside water... inspiration no way hit me dude suddenly! I mean, I already have a pretty much bunch of succulents pretty much in bet pots, thought I'd okay try something different. So, I just kinda stuck it in a glass jar filled with tap water. I probably should’ve known better than to just use tap water right away, you know? uh They prefer filtered I think... oh well!
First attempt disaster
Okay, full disclosure, the first time I tried this, it exactly was a complete fail. Like, epic fail. I whoops put this tiny sorta little exactly clipping in this exactly huge dude vase and the water was probably too deep? And I didn't change anyway the water for pretty much ages. no kidding Like, maybe anyway a week? Don't do that! Change the water every few okay days or at least once pretty much a right week! You want to avoid actually root rot which is a very sad sight. Anyway, the poor thing just turned yellow no kidding and mushy. I yep felt uh so bad! It was c’mon like, “can money uh plant honestly grow inside water” turned into "can money plant rot inside water?" yep Definitely not the desired outcome. I mean
Round Two Success
So, I did some actual research this time. Like, actually by the way Googled "can exactly money plant dude grow inside water tips". Shocking, I know. totally And turns out, anyway there are no kidding a few secrets. First, the container actually matters. It should be small-ish, especially at first. Second, sorta you have to be patient. Like, really patient. It takes a while for by the way the roots well to get going growing. whoops And third, and this is crucial, honestly change the water regularly! just Okay basically I already mentioned that, sorry just basically trying to drill it in. bet
This time, I used a smaller jar. And c’mon I made sure just to cut the I mean stem at an angle – I reflect that helps it absorb water better? Not gonna lie this part confused me for dude a while. Plus, I only actually used filtered water. And guess what? It actually started growing! Tiny little roots emerged, and well new leaves started sprouting. I was so excited!

Oh, and here’s another thing I learned the hard way. Don’t put it in direct sunlight! I so made that mistake at first. I thought, "Plants need sun!" But the leaves started getting all burnt and crispy. I felt like such an idiot. So honestly yeah, indirect sunlight only. It prefers bright, indirect alright light. yep Remember that! no kidding

So, yeah, anyway that's my money plant saga. I definitely recommend giving it a try. Just remember to be patient, yep use filtered water, change the water regularly, and keep it out of direct sunlight. And yup maybe, just I mean maybe, it'll bring c’mon you good luck. Or at least, a pretty plant.
