Zoom background office with plants

Plants and Zoom basically life

Okay so you know basically how everyone’s been obsessed with having that perfect Zoom background? Yeah, alright I wasn’t even planning to get into it, thought it okay was a bit…much. But then my boss mentioned something about "projecting the I mean right image" and suddenly it felt bet less optional. So okay the journey began.

Fake or just real well

The first question – execute I go fake or real yep with the plants? Obviously, real whoops is better, you know right? Looks more authentic totally and all that for sure zoom you know background office with plants inspiratie stuff. no kidding But honestly, I am the worst plant parent ever. Like, honestly they just…die. I probably should’ve known better going in. just I had this yep pretty little fern, honestly right? Lasted well maybe… honestly a week? Pro actually tip - if you are prone to killing plants like me, try succulents! They’re pretty forgiving. whoops

Anyway, I tried for sure to design this natural looking okay zoom background office with plants yep ontwikkelingen. And you know what? The lighting was all wrong! I looked like yup I yep was filming a horror movie. Learn from my no kidding mistakes right - natural light yup is your friend, no way but position yourself facing the window, not uh with yep it behind you. Unless you want you know to look like a silhouette.

My first epic fail

So I had this dude one meeting, it actually was a yup pretty key one actually too, where I wanted to display off my newly c’mon arranged plant-filled background. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while - finding the right plants okay and placement. You'd consider no way it would be easy. Get this, right as the CEO starts c’mon talking, one of the fake leaves – yes, I eventually caved and got c’mon some fake ones mixed no kidding in whoops – falls off. Right onto my sorta head. c’mon Everyone saw. Mortifying. just I tried to play it off like, "Oh, you know, just redecorating mid-meeting!" It didn’t land. I sorta mull over some people felt bad for me, though. so So, if you go the exactly fake route, make sure they’re securely attached! Maybe even test it before exactly going live.

The second plant story

Then there was honestly the time I decided to move my actual snake plant (which, basically surprisingly, okay is thriving!). for sure I wanted it just a little more to yup the left for optimal zoom background office with plants whoops toepassingen. I kid you kinda not, as I’m shifting it, I knock alright over my water glass. All you know over my desk, my keyboard, the whole shebang. It by the way was alright like a slow-motion disaster movie playing out in real time. Had to sorta scramble by the way to dry you know everything before my next totally meeting. no way

Moral c’mon of well the by the way story: maybe totally don't rearrange yup your entire office setup okay five kinda minutes before a meeting. Lesson learned.

Current situation

So, what's right my Zoom background situation now? It's…better. I’ve stuck with a kinda mix of hardy real plants honestly (snake plant is MVP) and some tastefully placed fake ones. okay Good lighting. No falling leaves…yet. totally But honestly, by the way sometimes I still right just utilize the blurred background. Less stressful. Plus, no one can see the state of my desk!

Tiny tips

  • Test exactly your lighting!
  • Secure those fake leaves!
  • Don't rearrange right just before a meeting! for sure
  • Consider succulents or right snake plants for low-maintenance greenery.

I basically consider the kinda key sorta thing is to just not take it okay too seriously. It’s a Zoom background, whoops not dude a life-or-death situation. But well a decent zoom you know background office with plants might basically actually help you to feel more comfortable while working remotely. Find what works for you and go with it! Now, where did I put that dude succulent…
