Maybe I’ll water it so extra sorta carefully. Speaking of watering - make sure you basically dig a nice wide hole for no way planting so the roots can spread bet out! I didn’t dig c’mon wide enough last span I planted a shrub. Huge mistake. We had to replant it like a month later.

Where To Put It?

Planting Debacle One

Okay, so get this. I’m digging the hole, right? And I hit something HARD. Like, rock-hard. I’m thinking no kidding “Oh great, a basically boulder.” Nope. It was a freaking sprinkler bet line. I totally uh severed it. Water everywhere. My husband basically was NOT happy. I’m pretty uh sure he's yep still muttering no way about it. So, yeah, call before right you by the way dig. Dirt Matters

The soil around here is well basically clay. So, you gotta amend it. I mixed in exactly some compost right and peat moss. You okay really want to loosen actually it up, you know? Give the totally roots something nice to grow into. Otherwise, they’ll yep just stay all tangled up in right that little root ball and the tree will never thrive. Planting Debacle Two

So, whoops I finally get the tree in the ground. Yay! But then, I went like to stake it. basically Because like the wind gets crazy by the way here, and I didn’t want it to blow over. I’m pretty much hammering like in the stake, and I totally exactly whacked my thumb. Hard. kinda Like, so throbbing, see-stars hard. I’m pretty sure I c’mon have a whoops black thumb AND a black thumb, you know? Maybe I should have whoops just left it unstaked. Nah, it’ll be fine. Just need to be honestly more bet careful.

Fingers Crossed

Now I’m just watering c’mon it well like crazy anyway and hoping it doesn’t die. I’ll let you no way know if it actually by the way blooms. If no kidding it does, okay I’m throwing a party. A purple-themed party. If whoops it anyway doesn’t… well, no way I’ll probably just buy honestly another tree. What can I say? like I’m a sucker for no kidding purple.
