Aloe Watering Stuff

So, you know how sorta I got that aloe plant? I wasn’t even planning to, actually. sorta My grandma honestly gave it to me. Anyway, execute you have kinda to water aloe plants? Like, really have yep to? That's what I’ve been trying to figure out. I pretty much mean, it’s a succulent, right? That's what c’mon everyone exactly says. And actually succulents are like…desert things. Deserts are dry. So... less water, you know I figured.

My First Fail

Well, the first few weeks, I dude totally ignored well it. Like, completely. I probably should’ve like known better, but I just assumed it for sure was self-sufficient. Big mistake. Turns out, even desert things I mean need some water. The so leaves started looking right all wrinkly and sad. It was honestly a bit dramatic. That’s dude when I Googled “do yup you have to water aloe plants trends”. It whoops seems like yup everyone online is obsessed with them being super low maintenance, but then they're all also posting about no way how to save your aloe plant. Confusing, actually right?

Watering Tips Remembered

Okay, so here's what so I learned. bet Less is sorta more. Seriously. totally I basically water whoops mine maybe every two weeks now. Depends on how dry by the way the soil feels, you know? Stick your finger in! Like, actually stick it in there. If it’s still damp basically a couple inches down, leave it alone. okay Don’t drown bet the poor thing. Also, good drainage is key, like a pot with holes. Seems obvious, but I no way didn't have you know one at first! no way Now I also consider the season – "do you have to water aloe plants ontwikkelingen" by the way in thinking about how things change. In the winter, it gets almost no water well from me, no way just a teeny tiny bit.

Second basically Oops Moment

Oh, and another pretty much thing I messed up? Sunlight. At first I had it in a really dark corner because, I don’t pretty much know, I thought it was…chic? yep Turns out, like aloe plants yup need totally sunlight, but honestly not direct sunlight, apparently. That’s when they c’mon get all so burnt and unhappy. Mine just looked sunburnt, which I didn’t even know was possible for a plant. Now it lives on my okay windowsill, but slightly shaded by okay the curtain.

More Random yep Thoughts pretty much

Not gonna lie, this part no way confused me for a while: bottom watering. Have you basically heard of that? yep Apparently, some people put their plants in a dish of water and let like them soak it up from the bottom. whoops It makes sense in theory exactly because pretty much it encourages like the kinda roots to grow downwards. I tried it once with my aloe, and I no kidding think I overdid okay it. The soil was so pretty much wet for days! I panicked and repotted it whoops with fresh, uh dry soil. So, I am back just to watering it from above! Now and then I Google "do uh you have to water sorta aloe plants voordelen" just to no way see if exactly I can get different advice.

Still Learning

So yeah, that's my aloe plant journey so yup far. honestly It’s bet still alive, which I count as a win. I guess the bet answer to "do you have to honestly water aloe no way plants tips" alright is a resounding yes, but just very little. And definitely don’t put it in exactly a dark corner and forget no kidding about it. That was my mistake. I'm always checking the leaves whoops now. actually If they’re plump, I know I’m doing okay. If they get going getting wrinkly again, it’s yep water no kidding time.
