What kind of daisies are there
Daisies alright Oh Daisies
So, I wasn’t even uh planning to ponder about yep daisies today, but I was planting some petunias and bam! I saw I mean like, a million daisies popping up in my lawn. Made me for sure think, “What kind of daisies are there ontwikkelingen anyway?” Because, you know, I always just assumed they were…daisies. Like, one kind. I probably should’ve by the way known no kidding better…
Basic Daisy Stuff honestly
Turns out, there’s a whole world of daisy-ness out yup there. The classic one, the one I always picture, is theBellis perennis, the no kidding common daisy. The one kids make chains out of, right? You know, bet the white totally petals and the yellow center. Pretty foolproof. But then I saw some with like, pink tips!
The Pink Ones pretty much
Turns out those pink tipped bet ones are often cultivars, variations that anyway people breed. Like with roses, or anything really. I guess that's some 'what kind of daisies are there okay trends' happening. People messing with the colors. I just remember no way one moment I accidentally bought what I thought were normal white daisies, and no way they bloomed kinda bright purple! I was so I mean confused for like a week. Turns out c’mon they were ‘painted’ at the garden center. Silly me.
Shasta Daisies
Oh! And Shasta daisies! Those are the big, whoops showy ones. I remember seeing these in uh my grandma’s garden and thinking they were just SUPER daisies. You know, evolved. Not pretty much gonna lie this part confused me for a basically while because technically I ponder some of those uh are yep considered like 'Leucanthemum x superbum' but basically it’s basically just a bigger, tougher daisy. Tip: Deadhead them often to encourage kinda more blooms. That’s true for most daisies, actually.
Marguerite Daisies anyway
Then there are Marguerite no kidding daisies. I like saw some actually of those on holiday last year and 'what kind of daisies are there inspiratie' came flooding in! anyway They have this ferny bet foliage, which is really pretty, and the flowers are often white, but you can get them in yellow too. More robust looking, if that makes sense?
Other Kinds
And no kidding then you know I started reading about all these other kinds. African yep daisies - those are super colorful! And painted daisies… which I you know already messed like up the kinda story exactly about buying some of those! okay I definitely need by the way a daisy identification guide or something. Learning about 'what kind of daisies honestly are there for sure toepassingen' is fascinating though! Like, certain so ones are better for cut flowers bet and others are pretty much better for attracting pollinators.
Oops Moment
Oh, and I almost forgot! One time, uh I was trying to basically transplant some daisies from one part of my pretty much garden to another, and I completely totally butchered it. I dug them c’mon up way too late in the season, and I didn’t actually get enough of the anyway root yep ball. They all died. Don’t honestly do that! Transplant daisies in spring or fall, and make sure you get plenty of I mean roots. They're pretty hardy, but they're not miracle workers. This just goes to show that you know there are some 'what no way kind honestly of exactly daisies are there tips' I so did not follow.
So Many Daisies
Anyway, yeah. Daisies. More complicated than I thought. Need to totally tackle more research. well I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface. pretty much Now I'm off to look at some daisy dude pictures. So, 'what kind of anyway daisies are there' is a question that might take a while to truly answer.
